SEO Specialist

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in SEO (Search Engine Optimization);
  • Advanced English writing and speaking skills;
  • High school/University degree;
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO practices;
  • Prior experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Adwords (Keyword Planner);
  • Experience using other SEO tools a plus (Moz, Semrush, Ahrefs, Majestic);
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze the website for areas that can be improved and optimized;
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations;
  • Recommend changes to site architecture, content, internal linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Keep updated on a white hat and black hat SEO tactics so as to not violate search engine guidelines; Keep updated regarding the latest SEO trends, and all the latest Google Search updates;
  • Write effective site content, optimized for both search engines and conversion;
  • Optimize copy and site pages for search engine marketing by using keywords that attract relevant and valuable traffic;
  • Check that translations are SEO optimized; check the implementation of international SEO;
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery and optimization;
  • Run split tests to optimize pages
  • Constantly monitor and report SEO performance;
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns, and communicate those findings along with suggestions for improvements or changes to the marketing manager;
  • Investigate abnormal website behavior (spikes / sudden decreases in organic traffic volume, click-through rates, bounces, conversion rates), interpret its significance for our business and suggest solutions if needed;
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented;
  • Work with the editorial team to help meet SEO requirements for new content and optimize old content;
  • Constantly seek professional development opportunities by reading SEO articles, books, attending conferences, workshops, courses, webinars, etc.
